Getting to Luxor/ Aswan |

Luxor and Aswan are both easily accessible, whether
you are traveling from abroad or from another destination in Egypt.
If you are coming from an international destination, please note that you will
usually need to stay one night in Cairo, and to depart for Luxor or Aswan the
following morning.
Flights from Cairo to Luxor take 50 minutes, and from Cairo to Aswan 90
minutes. Alternatively, you can travel from Cairo to Luxor by sleeper train
(Wagon Lit) on an overnight trip.
There are various travel options from destinations in Egypt: there are buses
from Hurghada (about 4 hours) and Marsa Alam (about 6 hours).
